EXPERIENCE
For me, being chosen to capture one of the most important days of your life is very special. It goes far beyond a business transaction which is why I like to take the time to get to know you. One of the best ways to do this is to have a pre-wedding shoot, something I include in all of my Collections. A pre-wedding shoot will help you feel more relaxed on the Big Day and if you are comfortable around me then your photos will be even more amazing.
HOW I WORK
As a Cotswolds based documentary-style wedding photographer, I’m here to tell the story of your Wedding Day as it un-folds. I’ll capture the candid, un-posed and natural moments and most of the time you won’t even know I’m there.
I’ll also happily guide you through posed portraits as newly-weds if this is something you would like. I love a dress swish and a little smooch at golden hour but I’m not going to steal you away from your guests for hours on end.
Ultimately, I am relaxed and flexible and I’ll go with whatever it is you want on the day (within reason!)
ON THE DAY
By the time your Wedding day comes around, we will already have met in person and probably spoken on the phone a few times to finalise plans. I therefore won’t need to disturb you on the day. I’ll come and say hello on arrival and then set myself up so I can start snapping all the lovely photos.
I like to capture the detail shots first – the venue, the rings, the flowers, the shoes, the dress etc. Then I move onto bride / groom preparation photos, assuming this is something you would like.
Once the guests start to arrive and the ceremony starts I’ll be snapping away non-stop.
